The Ride for Recovery honors those people who are currently in treatment, those who are in recovery and embracing a healthy lifestyle, and remembering those who have lost their lives to the disease of addiction. All proceeds raised will support the numerous programs offered by Lake-Geauga Recovery Centers. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. Starting time will be 8:05 a.m. for the long route (35 miles) and 9:05 a.m. for the short route (15 miles). Both routes will return to Oak House around Noon. People can register on site the day of the event as well as online. Riders will have the opportunity to stop at various Lake-Geauga Recovery Center’s facilities along the route where they can enjoy a refreshment and learn about the agency and it’s various programs. And remember, if you raise $100 or more in sponsorships you will receive a free t-shirt! Please note: ALL RIDERS MUST WEAR HELMETS One lucky winner for a Marin Muirwoods bicycle will be announced at the Event. Winner need not be present to win.
