Christ Lutheran will hold a healing service open to the community. We will welcome everyone who feels the need for God’s healing in any aspect of their lives to join us in worship and prayer. Those who wish to do so may step forward to the communion rail for an individual blessing, laying on of hands, and anointing with oil. We do not offer this healing service as a substitute for scientific/medical treatments and interventions, which we believe are also God’s good gifts to us.
We believe that “God is good all the time,” and we want to bring hope and healing to those with physical, emotional, psychological, and/or spiritual concerns. We will pray for healing in families and marriages, and for those who need to know that Christ has not forgotten them. Bring a friend who would benefit from having hands laid on them in prayer. This worship service will let everyone know that Christ is with us in all things.
