The Lake County General Health District will be offering an Open Opiate Forums on September 12th at the Willowick Community Center, 321 East 314th Street in Willowick. The Forum will run from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. All Lake County residents are invited to attend.
Representatives from Lake County Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board, Lake County General Health District and the Lake County Narcotics Agency will speak on topics ranging from statistical trends to new local county resources. A local community member will also share their story on how opiate abuse affected their family. Other agencies will be present to provide information on their services. Those in attendance who are over the age of 18 will be eligible to receive a free Naloxone (Narcan®) kit.
