Hot Stove Dinner on Thursday, February 8th from 6 pm – 9pm at the Holiday Inn Mentor
Former Cleveland Indians closer and all-time saves leader Bob Wickman will be the featured guest and encourages fans to bring their questions for a robust and interactive question and answer session on his professional baseball career as well as his time with the Cleveland Indians.
The new Lake County Captains 2018 Field Manager will also be in attendance for the evening giving fans their first chance to welcome the new manager to town and ask him about the upcoming Captains baseball season. The manager and any other guests will be announced at a later date.
Fans will be able to take advantage of a special VIP Experience, limited to only 50 attendees, to take part in an exclusive pre-event reception with the guests-of-honor in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn from 6:15 – 7:00. For only $50 per person (children or adults), VIP package holders will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages while visiting with our special guests. Each VIP guest will also have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos with the guests during the reception and enjoy prime reserved seating during that evening’s program. The VIP portion of this event sells out quickly and has sold out for the previous five events.
Pre-sale regular Hot Stove Dinner tickets are only $30 for adults and $20 for kids ages 4-12. Tickets will not be available the day of the event.
A Chinese auction of Captains, Indians, Browns and other baseball memorabilia will also be held during the evening, with proceeds benefiting Captains Charities, an official 501(c)3 organization. 50/50 Raffle Tickets will also be available that night for purchase.
